Silent mode is great for a sleeping baby. The unique on-screen positioning system confirms proper distance for taking temperature while the gentle guidance light directs you for accurate aiming. It has a large display with color coded fever guidance, and the backlight changes from green to yellow to red depending on the temperature reading.
