Here is a STAR (pre-TAMA) Snare drum re-assembled on a 8 ply maple shell as the original shell (also now sold in my store for sale/repair) has had a lug pull through it. All parts original STAR except hoops & heads; wires; muffler.
This drum is REALLY special as it not only sounds amazing-it also POPS as you approach the glittered lacquer finish and it overcomes with a three dimensional effect.
