Vintage Siamese Cat Salt & Pepper Shakers w/ Blue Rhinestone Eyes - Ceramic.  Condition is "Used".
This vintage pair of Siamese cats are a set of salt & pepper shakers. Each cat has blue rhinestone eyes and Siamese cat markings - one being a bit darker than the other so as to be able to tell which is pepper and which is salt, we believe. Though they have long since lost any maker stickers they may have had, our research shows them as being made in Japan.
The lighter colored (2 holes in head) cat has a chip on the back of its left ear (as it faces you) and a tiny chip on the front of the right ear. It also has a line that goes all the way around it at about midpoint (or by tip of tail), but this line is UNDER the glaze, so whatever it is, it was done during its making. This cat also has a tiny wobble which might disappear if filled with salt.
The darker colored (3 holes in head) cat has a chip on the back of its left ear (as it faces you) and a small chip on the back of its left leg (as its back end faces you). There are some brown speckles on this cat's back toward the bottom, but they are under the glaze so, again, done in its making.
