For the A Series wings, the use of the ultra-lightweight, ultra-strong, UV-stable, burst-proof ALUULA composite material for the leading edge and struts enhances wing stiffness, precision, and control, and significantly reduces weight, resulting in improved performance. The new ALUULA-specific seams also increase seam strength by 40% over conventional sewing methods.
Lightweight anyway!Successfully 40% lighter than conventional
The A Series wing GLIDE uses ALUULA composite material weighing 78 to 82 grams per square meter (gsm), while industry standard Dacron weighs 155 to 165 gsm. This significantly reduces wing weight and improves light wind performance. The increased strength and reduced stretch (fabric elongation) allows for smaller leading edge and strut diameters, further reducing weight and allowing for better wind flow.

ALUULA Struts
Constructed of ultra-lightweight, ultra-strong ALUULA material, the struts increase profile stability and rigidity while significantly reducing the weight of the wing itself.
ALUULA Leading Edge
Made of ALUULA material, this product's leading edge is the lightest, strongest and most responsive on the market. With six times more tensile strength than Dacron, the ALUULA leading stiffens and lightens the entire wing, providing the most refined handling and performance riders at all wind speeds. The leading can be adjusted to a higher air pressure (8 psi) than is possible with Dacron to provide additional stiffness to the airframe.
Teijin D2 Ripstop Canopy
Designed specifically for the kiteboarding market, Teijin's Technoforce D2 ripstop is incredibly lightweight with high tear resistance and low elongation.
Windows
The windows are installed in the minimum size necessary so that the downwind side can be checked when needed. The perimeter of the window is reinforced with ALUULA.
Quad Lock Seams
Quad Lock is specifically used in strut forming seams and provides more than twice the strength of standard strut seams. This is another innovation specifically tailored for ALULA airframe kites.
Air Pressure
The recommended air pressure is 8 psi for the leading edge and 12 psi for the strut. Both leading and strut are at high pressures, but the use of ALUULA material makes them safe and puncture-free.
Leash Cord
Leash cord is included. It is also long enough.
Wing Bag
Built for convenience on the beach and to keep wings in good condition during storage. Mesh on side and bottom panels to accelerate wing drying and sand release.
